Chester Bennington’s Former Band To Re-Record Old Material

Chester Bennington‘s former bandmates in his first group GREY DAZE, have announced plans to re-record their old material with the help of the late LINKIN PARK frontman’s friends and family. Among the guest musicians set to appear on the recordings are Chester‘s 22-year-old son Jaime BenningtonKORN‘s Brian “Head” Welch and James “Munky” ShafferP.O.D.‘s Marcos CurielBUSH‘s Chris Traynor, as well as Ryan ShuckChester‘s bandmate in DEAD BY SUNRISE.

GREY DAZE posted a picture of Jaime in the recording booth, captioning it: “Chester would have been so very proud of his son Jaime Bennington. We had Jaime sing along with his father last night at NRG Recording Studios and his voice is great! Sounds a lot like his father and we were all very proud to be a part of it.”

Bennington was found dead in his Los Angeles-area home in July 2017 after hanging himself. Linkin Park headlined an all-star tribute concert for Bennington in October 2017 in Los Angeles but has not announced any future plans for recording or touring.
