The iconic British indie rock band ARCTIC MONKEYS will perform this year at Sziget Festival in Budapest, which will welcome its guests from August 8th to 15th at the “Island of Freedom”.
By forming one of the most respected and popular bands in the UK, Alex Turner, Matt Helders, Jamie Cook and Nick O’Malley have become one of the most important musical names of their generation. Since its founding in 2002, the band skyrocketed to success, and their debut album “Whatever People Say I Am, 2006’s That’s What I’m Not” is the fastest-selling album in the UK chart history.
Sziget has already announced several big names that the audience will have the opportunity to hear in Budapest, such as Mumford & Sons, Kendrick Lamar, Liam Gallagher, Bastille and many others.
